Anniston, AL – May 5, 2007: Lord Vader, the 69th Imperial Dewback Cavalry, bounty hunters, Padme’ Amidala, and a lone Jawa descended on Anniston, Alabama to help raise money for the Relay-for-Life. The invasion took place at the Noble Street festival.

Rebel resistance was minimal, and the general population seemed to enjoy the Imperial occupation. Festival attendees were very impressed with the presence of the troopers, and lots of money was raised for the charity.

With such a positive response from the crowd and the troops, this invasion is sure to be repeated next year!
